Australian Poetry: Remembering Jonathan Livingston - "The seagull who flies high lives high"
64
BE JONATHAN LIVINGSTON
BE A SEAGULL
BE
Take the breath
Of the wings of morning
Lift your eyes
To the canyons
Of the skies
And fly!
First Journey
Morning breath
Trembling
Blurring
Hungering
Speed
Speed is power
Tumbling
Spinning
Senseless
Non
Sense
Waking
Waking
Waking in moonlight
On dark
Silvered
Waters
Journeys
The years hum by
Softly glowing with stars and promises
Angers and fears slowly drown
In the waters of Lethe
And flight
Is the inner longing for
Perfection
Wings
Dreaming of shimmering wings
Dreaming of being
Wings
Loneness
Inner earth
Inner time
Inner sky
Inner heaven
Being
Is the art of flying

Great thoughts!
I just found out that you´re only here with us for 5 days!? Is this possible? I feel like you´ve been here for ages!! Thank you for sharing your hubs ;-)
I was deeply moved and uplifted by that treasure of a book. I love this celebration you put up, too!
Hehe, I have those copy paste problems too, and usually surrender.
Thank you, Gemma.
